About Dr. Allen
An active Head of School — not a retired advisor
Dubolino Education Advisory is led by Dr. Allen A. Dubolino, Ph.D., a practising Head of School with 22 years of international education leadership across Japan and Thailand. Unlike consultants who left classrooms years ago, Dr. Allen works inside international schools every day — which means families get real-time admissions knowledge, not outdated advice.
Dr. Allen has served as Head of School and Co-Founder of multiple international schools in Japan and Thailand, held senior leadership roles at a Singaporean international school, and provided advisory support to some of the largest educational corporations in Asia. He specialises in competitive international school admissions advisory in Tokyo and Bangkok, bespoke homeschool curriculum design, and helping schools build the systems that make them exceptional.

Why Dubolino
Most international school advisors tell you what to do. Dr. Allen has actually done it.
He has designed the admissions criteria that selective international schools use to evaluate your child and your family. He has written the interview rubrics. He has sat in the room where decisions are made. And he has made them.
For families navigating competitive international school admissions in Japan, Thailand, or Southeast Asia, that insider knowledge is the difference between a rejection and an acceptance letter.
日本のご家族へ / For Japanese Families Applying to International Schools
The international school parent interview is in English. We make sure Japanese families are ready for it.
Tokyo's international school admissions process is among the most competitive in Asia. With fewer than 30 genuinely selective international schools serving a metropolitan area of over 14 million people, unprepared families face real rejection risk.
Dubolino Education Advisory offers Japanese families a complete Japan Pathway: a bilingual coordinator who manages your engagement entirely in Japanese, structured Parent English Interview Preparation, and Dr. Allen's insider coaching based on the actual rubrics Tokyo admissions committees use.
